Publish or unpublish a classic site

Use this guide for Pagecloud’s classic drag-and-drop editor. If your editor includes Ask Paige, use Publish and connect an AI Site domain instead.

You can build, edit, and preview a classic site for free. A paid subscription is required to publish it as a live website.

Publish a classic site

  1. Open the site dashboard.
  2. Select Publish your site.
  3. Choose a paid subscription if the site does not have one.

Once publishing succeeds, visitors can open the site at its Pagecloud address or connected custom domain.

Preview a classic site

  1. Open the site dashboard.
  2. Select Preview below the site’s thumbnail.

Previewing lets you review the site without publishing it.

Unpublish a classic site

  1. Open the site dashboard.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Under General settings, select Unpublish site.
  4. Select Unpublish to confirm.

The site is no longer accessible on the web. Visitors receive a 404 Page Not Found response at the site’s addresses.

Unpublishing does not cancel your subscription or reduce the number of sites covered by it. To change your subscription quantity, contact support@pagecloud.com or start a live chat from your account. Learn more about Pagecloud subscriptions.
