How to Lock Objects from Moving

Sometimes, you'll have sections of a page that you don't want to accidentally reposition while adjusting another part of your page.  Avoid that by locking certain objects on your page in place. 

Lock an Object

1. Select the object you’d like to lock.
2. Go to the Editing Menu. 
3. Under the “Arrange” tab, click the lock icon.
4. Click “Save” and “View Live” to save your changes.
   
   

When objects are locked, a Locked icon will appear on the wireframe.

Unlock an Object

1. Select the locked object.
2. Go into the Editing Menu. 
3. Under the “Arrange” tab, click the open lock icon.
4. The object is now unlocked. 
5. Click “Save” and “View Live” to save your changes.
