Linking

Inter-page links

To create a link to another page in your site, first identify the name of the page you want to reach. The page name appears underneath each page in the page browser when you click “Pages” at the bottom of the PageCloud editor.

To create a clickable link from text

Select some text, then click the link icon in the text editing frame,
Ensure the link type is set to “Page” and then select the page within your site that you would like this link to direct to.
when you “View Live” you can now click the text and navigate to the selected page.

*Please note, our user interface has recently gone through an update and the Link tab now looks slightly different from the Gifs below. The functionality is still the same.

Same-page anchor links

To create a link to an anchor point on the same page

First select the target object to set as the anchor,

in the “ID” field, enter a simple name for the anchor.  Note - this name is case sensitive.

*Please note, our user interface has recently gone through an update and the DATA tab shown in the gifs below no longer exists. You can find these correct fields in the PROPERTIES tab now.

Creating an anchor directing to another page

Follow the same processes as outlined above, however when setting the link itself, put the page name (where the anchor exists) infront of the #ANCHORID. For example: contact#ANCHORID if you're directing your users to that anchor on your page titled "contact".
