Hiding Objects from Desktop or Mobile Views

Prevent an object from appearing on your website by hiding it. Hiding Objects is available in both Desktop and Mobile mode. 

Hide an Object in your Manual Column Layout


  1. Select the object that you want to hide.
  2. Go into the “Arrange” tab of the Editing Menu.
  3. Click on the Show/Hide icon to hide or unhide the object.
  4. The opacity of the object will change in edit mode to confirm it's hidden state.
  5. Click “Save” and “View Live” and notice that object is no longer present on the page.



Hide an Object in your Auto Column Layout


Currently the Auto Column Layouts do not have the ability to hide objects. 


To change the look of an Auto Column Layout between desktop and mobile mode:


  1. While editing the page, select the Section you would like to appear differently in mobile mode.
  2. In the upper left of the Section Click the + icon to duplicate the Section.
  3. Select the Sections tab in the Sidebar on the left of the page.
  4. In the bottom left of the Section thumbnail, click the dropdown icon. 
  5. Select Hide. The duplicated Section is now hiding in desktop mode. 
  6. Head to mobile mode. 
  7. Adjust the duplicated Section to how it should appear in mobile mode. 
  8. Select the Sections tab in the Sidebar on the left of the page.
  9. In the bottom left of the Section thumbnail, click the dropdown icon. 
  10. Select Hide. The original Section is now hiding in mobile mode.
  11. Click “Save” and “View Live” to see the different sections displayed in each mode.
