Connect a GoDaddy domain to Pagecloud

Pagecloud AI Sites and classic Pagecloud sites use different DNS records. Choose your site type before editing GoDaddy DNS.

You have an AI Site if your editor includes Ask Paige. Otherwise, use the classic site instructions below.

Connect GoDaddy to an AI Site

  1. Publish the AI Site.
  2. From its project dashboard, select Domain.
  3. Enter the domain under Custom domain, then select Add domain.
  4. Keep the Pagecloud Domain setup page open.
  5. Sign in to GoDaddy and open My Products.
  6. Find the domain and open DNS or Manage DNS.
  7. In Pagecloud, copy every displayed Type, Name, and Value into GoDaddy.
  8. Remove conflicting A or CNAME records for the same @ or www name. Do not remove MX or other email records.
  9. If GoDaddy does not offer the displayed ANAME or ALIAS type, expand No ANAME/ALIAS support? Use A records instead in Pagecloud. Add every A and TXT record shown.
  10. Save the records, return to Pagecloud, and select Check status.

Do not use Pagecloud’s classic A records or proxy2.pagecloud.com for an AI Site. The setup is complete when both hostnames show DNS connected and SSL active.

Connect GoDaddy to a classic site

  1. Publish the classic Pagecloud site and add the domain from Domain setup.
  2. Sign in to GoDaddy and open My Products.
  3. Find the domain and open DNS or Manage DNS.
  4. Add these records:
Type Name Value TTL
A @ 52.21.96.107 Automatic or 1 hour
A @ 52.3.106.31 Automatic or 1 hour
CNAME www proxy2.pagecloud.com Automatic or 1 hour
  1. Remove conflicting A or CNAME records for @ and www. Keep email records.
  2. Return to Pagecloud and select Test connection.
  3. Choose your Preferred URL after the domain connects.

DNS changes can take up to 48 hours. SSL is provisioned after the correct records are visible.
