Edit your AI Site

You can edit an AI Site by asking Paige for a result, selecting a specific element, or using direct editor controls.

How do I ask Paige to change my site?

Open Ask Paige and describe the outcome you want. You can request changes such as:

  • Rewrite a heading or section
  • Add, remove, or reorganize content
  • Create another page
  • Add a form or call to action
  • Change the visual style
  • Replace or generate imagery
  • Update links and site settings

Be specific about the page and content when a request could apply in more than one place. Paige normally works on the page currently open in the editor.

You can stop a response while it is running. If a response fails, use Retry or send the request again with more detail.

How do I edit one part of a page with AI?

  1. Turn on Edit mode in the top toolbar.
  2. Select the text, image, button, section, or other element you want to change.
  3. Select Edit with AI.
  4. Describe only the change you want for the selected element.

The selected item appears with your message so Paige can keep the request focused.

What can I edit directly?

With Edit mode on, select an element to see the available controls. Depending on the element, you can:

  • Edit text directly on the page
  • Move an item up or down
  • Duplicate or delete an item
  • Replace an image
  • Change a section’s color scheme
  • Change a button style
  • Add, update, or remove a link
  • Open Design for more appearance controls

The breadcrumb above the selected item helps you move between a section, its container, and nested elements. Use Layers when you need to find an element that is difficult to select on the canvas.

Select a button or link, then open the Link tab. A link can point to:

  • A page on your site
  • A section on a page
  • Another website
  • An email address
  • A phone number

You can also choose whether a website link opens in a new tab. Avoid insecure http links when an https address is available.

Can I undo AI changes?

Yes. Undo and Redo cover direct edits and changes made by Paige during the current editing history.

If you want a different result rather than restoring the previous version, tell Paige what to keep and what to change.

How do I check different screen sizes?

Open the viewport control in the top toolbar. You can use:

  • Responsive to fill the available editor space
  • Phone, tablet, and desktop presets
  • Custom to enter or drag to a specific width and height
  • Rotate to compare portrait and landscape
  • Zoom controls to fit the preview on screen

Check important content at more than one size before publishing. Turn off Edit mode to interact with the page as a visitor would.
