Manage AI Site pages and settings
Use the page panel to move around your site. Ask Paige to create, rename, duplicate, delete, publish, or update pages and site settings.
How do I switch pages?
Use the page name in the top toolbar, or open the Pagecloud logo menu and select Pages & settings. Select a page from the list to open it in the editor.
Nested page addresses appear in a folder structure. Use Search pages to find a page in a larger site.
How do I create or change a page?
Ask Paige for the page operation you need. Include the page name when it is not the page currently open. For example:
- “Create an About page with our story and team.”
- “Duplicate the Services page and name the copy Commercial Services.”
- “Rename contact to get-a-quote.”
- “Unpublish the seasonal-offer page.”
- “Delete the old-events page.”
Deleting a page cannot be undone. Paige will confirm the page before deleting it.
Renaming a page changes its URL. Ask Paige to add a redirect from the old address when visitors or search engines may still use it.
How do I update page titles and descriptions?
Ask Paige to set the title or search description for a named page. Keep page titles descriptive and usually under 60 characters. Keep descriptions clear and usually under 160 characters.
These fields help search engines and visitors understand the page. They do not replace visible headings and copy on the page.
Which site settings can Paige update?
You can ask Paige to:
- Rename the site
- Update the business and style details used as context for future work
- Set or remove the favicon
- Turn sitemap generation on or off
- Allow or discourage search-engine indexing for the whole site
- Turn Pagecloud Analytics on or off
- Add, update, list, or remove supported tracking IDs
- Add, list, or remove redirects
Changes to analytics, sitemap, search visibility, and the favicon need another publish before they appear on the live site.
Which tracking services are supported?
Paige can manage IDs for:
- Google Analytics
- Google Tag Manager
- Facebook Pixel
- X (Twitter) Pixel
Provide the exact tracking ID. Paige will not invent or look up an account-specific ID for you.
Pagecloud Analytics is separate from third-party tracking. It uses a first-party session cookie, so review your consent and privacy requirements before enabling it.
How do redirects work?
Use a permanent redirect when an old address has moved for good. Use a temporary redirect when the move is temporary.
AI Sites also support wildcard redirects for groups of addresses. For example, you can send every old blog address to a matching address under a new path. Ask Paige to list current redirects before changing an existing rule.
