About Custom domains

A custom domain gives your site an address based on your brand. Start by identifying whether you have an AI Site or a classic Pagecloud site, because they use different DNS records and connection controls. AI Site records are generated for each domain and must be copied from its Domain setup page.

Your DNS provider controls where the domain points. Add or replace only the website records Pagecloud requires, and keep email records such as MX, SPF, and DKIM. After DNS connects, Pagecloud provisions SSL for secure https access. Test both the root and www addresses before choosing a preferred version. If you move a domain between sites, check the destination site's records again instead of assuming the existing records can stay.

Provider-specific guides explain where to enter the records in GoDaddy, Hover, NameSilo, and Cloudflare. DNS changes can take time to appear, but waiting will not fix a missing or incorrect value. Compare every name and value first, then use Pagecloud's connection or status check before contacting support.
