Your workspace and projects

Your workspace is your home in Pagecloud. When you sign in, you land in your workspace: it holds all of your projects, plus your account settings.

What is a workspace?

Every Pagecloud account has one workspace. It’s where you:

  • View and open all of your projects
  • Create new projects
  • Manage your account: profile, billing, usage, and privacy settings

You don’t need to create or name a workspace. It comes with your account.

What is a project?

A project is a container for everything related to one website or campaign. A single project can hold:

  • A website: your Pagecloud site and all of its pages
  • Popups: banners and popups you embed on your site or an external site

Each project also has its own domain settings, team, analytics, and inbox for form submissions.

Create a project

Projects are created automatically when you create a new site. To start one:

  1. From your workspace, click “Create new”.
  2. Choose what you want to build.
  3. Follow the prompts to set up your new site or popup.

Free accounts can have up to 5 projects. Paid plans have no project limit.

Inside a project

Select any project in your workspace to open its dashboard. The left sidebar gives you access to:

  • Overview: a summary of your project
  • Site: your pages, blog, and site settings
  • Popups: your banners and popups
  • Analytics: traffic and custom events
  • Inbox: form submissions from your site
  • Settings: project details, domain, and team

Rename a project

Your project name is used throughout your workspace to help you identify your project. To change it:

  1. From your workspace, select the project.
  2. In the left sidebar, select “Settings”, then “Details”.
  3. Update the project name (and description, if you like).
  4. Save your changes.

Delete a project

Deleting a project unpublishes and permanently deletes all sites inside it. This cannot be undone.

  1. From your workspace, select the project.
  2. In the left sidebar, select “Settings”, then “Details”.
  3. Scroll down and click “Delete project”.
  4. Type the project name to confirm.

Deleting a project does not cancel your subscription. To change or cancel your plan, go to Billing in your workspace’s account settings.

Projects and your team

Each project has its own team. You can invite people to collaborate on one project without giving them access to your other projects. See Add a team member for details.

Projects and billing

Your subscription is attached to your account, not to a single project. Your plan determines the limits shared across your projects, like team members and usage. You can review these anytime under Usage in your workspace’s account settings.
